BOOKING CONDITIONS

In-House Holidays (IHH) is authorised by the owner of the property to let the property to you, the guest. The guest is granted permission to occupy the property during the agreed period set out in the confirmation letter. The guest is not a tenant of the property and has not been granted exclusive possession of the property. The terms and conditions of the Rental Tenancy Act do not apply to short-stay holiday accommodation bookings with IHH

A Booking is subject to the Terms and Conditions outlined below. It is important that you read and understand these Terms and Conditions prior to booking as they will apply to your stay at any property managed by IHH.

In-House Holidays Direct Booking:

If your holiday dates are beyond 30 days from your arrival date, a deposit of 50% of the total tariff is required to confirm the booking.

Payments by credit card (Mastercard/Visacard) are to be by telephone to the In House Holidays office on 0439 998 201, or via email to info@inhouseholidays.com.au.

The balance of payment plus refundable bond is payable 28 days prior to arrival.

The refundable bond applicable to the house is payable by CREDIT CARD ONLY!

Your booking will include a specified amount of cleaning and the bond will be refunded after the house has been checked and cleaned, usually with 7-10 working days of vacating.

If your holiday dates are within 30 days, full payment is required at the time of booking.

Payment methods above can be used.  However, payment must be by credit card only if less than 7 days away.

If booking through another booking platform, please refer to the terms and conditions on the individual site.

We do not accept cheque or American Express.

Not permitted at the house are parties, bucks and hens’ nights, or leavers celebrations.

Cancellation policy

Full refund for cancellations made within 48 hours of booking, if the check-in date is at least 14 days away. 50% refund for cancellations made at least 7 days before check-in. No refunds for cancellations made within 7 days of check-in. 

Size of Party

The number of guests occupying the property for the holiday house must not exceed the number specified on the confirmation letter.  If for any reason there is a change to the number of guests occupying the property, IHH must be informed immediately.  If approval is given for a change in the number of guests, an additional charge will be payable for each extra guest.

Guest Responsability

Guests are expected to look after and take all reasonable care of the property and all the furnishings and equipment included in the property and to observe the “No Smoking Inside” requirement for the duration of the holiday.   Guests should also be responsible if smoking outside that this doesn’t cause a fire risk.

Your stay is to be an enjoyable one but is not to impact on the environment around you including any neighbour properties.  If there is a complaint of excess noise disturbance or use for other than residential purposes, guests stay can be terminated and a call out charge of $75.00 for the time personnel must attend to the complaint is payable.

Any faults, damages or breakages must be reported to IHH or a representative of IHH as soon as possible.
